Schlaneid ( Italian Salonetto ) is a fraction of the municipality of Mölten in South Tyrol ( Italy ). The district is located at 1150 m slm and has 120 inhabitants. Schlaneid is just under two kilometers southwest of the central town of Mölten high above the Etschtal on the Tschögglberg . Schlaneid can be reached from the valley on the one hand via a winding road via Terlan and Mölten, and on the other hand via the Mölten cable car up from Vilpian .
Attractions
In the center of the village there is a St. Valentine's Church, built in 1769 in a simple baroque style. Its early medieval predecessor is the St. Valentin church in the Valteswald south of the village, which today is only preserved as a wall ruin.
