Schleicherberg is a residential area in the Mehring community in the Trier-Saarburg district in Rhineland-Palatinate .

Location and description

Schleicherberg is located on the open upper eastern slope of a hilltop about one and a half kilometers south of the Moselle arch between Mehring and Pölich at heights of a little 414 m above sea level. NHN . It comprises two groups of houses with two houses each, about 400 meters apart. In the south-west the federal autobahn 1 / Europastraße 422 passes over them , in the north the state road 150 descends eastward into the valley of the Mordbach , the incision of this Waldbach, which flows into the Kleine Dhron at Büdlicherbrück, limits the living space in the east-southeast.

Planned pumped storage power plant Schleicherberg
