Haus Schloßberg 38 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

location

It is located on the east side of the Quedlinburger Schloßberg in the Westendorf district . The street Schloßberg is only a narrow alley, only suitable for pedestrians. The house is registered in the Quedlinburg monument register as a residential building and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . To the south is the also listed building Schloßberg 37 , to the north the building is Schloßberg 39 .

Architecture and history

The two-storey half - timbered house was built around 1800. It is adapted to the kinking course of the alley and thus has three wall surfaces. On the ground floor the half-timbered facade is partially plastered. The front door of the building is designed in Art Nouveau forms and dates from around 1900.
