It is located west of the Quedlinburger Schloßberg in the Westendorf district . The house is registered in the Quedlinburg monument register as a residential building and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . Opposite the house are the rocks of the castle hill.
Architecture and history
The two-storey half-timbered house, which is completely plastered, stands on a plot of land that bends along the course of the street. It consists of two parts of the building that were built at different times. The older one was built around 1580, the younger one around 1800. The western part has a strongly profiled eaves cornice . The gate in this part of the house with decorative elements is remarkable. The occurrence of fan rosettes is described as an ornament for the building .
