The Schloßgartengraben rises at an altitude of 473 m above sea level. NN northeast of Stopfenheim not far from the district road WUG 3 and near the European main watershed . The stream flows parallel to the county road, first in a south-westerly, then south-westerly and then in a westerly direction and crosses a wide open landscape . The Schloßgartengraben empties not far from the Kesselweiher after a run of about one kilometer at an altitude of 456 m above sea level.
