The Schneckenberg in the Bavarian Forest is a 526 m high mountain in the municipality of Haibach , 200 meters east of the district of Hacksberg .
After the Gallner it is the highest point between Kinsach and Menach . The Schneckenberger Water , a tributary of the Irschenbach, rises on its northeast slope .
The Schneckenberg in the Bavarian Forest near Haibach and the Schneckenberg in the Franconian Alb near Hirschbach are the same height and the highest so-called elevations in Bavaria .
