The Schneider Glacier is a 24 km long glacier in the West Antarctic Ellsworthland . In the Heritage Range of the Ellsworth Mountains, it flows between the ridges Dunbar Ridge and Inferno Ridge in a northerly direction to the Balish Glacier , which it reaches shortly before it joins the Splettstoesser Glacier .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it on the basis of its own surveys and with the help of aerial photographs of the United States Navy between 1961 and 1966. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1966 after Arthur F. Schneider, maintenance officer of the VX-6 flight squadron in Operation Deep Freeze des 1965 and commanding officer to that of 1968.
