The state road D100 in Kadıköy

The D100 is a dual carriageway that runs east-west in Turkey . The D stands for devlet yolu , which means state road. The 1788 kilometer long road begins in Kapıkule on the Bulgarian border (in the European part of Turkey), crosses under the Bosphorus in the Eurasia Tunnel and leads through the Black Sea region and eastern Anatolia to Gürbulak on the Iranian border.

Large sections of the D100 trunk road are also part of the European route 80 , from Gerede in the Bolu province to behind Doğubeyazıt in the far east of Turkey.
