Schownyne ( Ukrainian Жовнине ; Russian Чернобай Schownino ) is a village in the center of Ukraine in Cherkassy Oblast with about 1000 inhabitants (2006).
Schownyne is located in the Rayon Chornobai on a peninsula of the mouth of the Sula in the kremenchuk reservoir accumulated Dnepr is formed. The Rajon center Chornobaj is located 55 km northwest of the village.
