Schrack Technik GmbH is an Austrian industrial company in the electrical engineering sector that has existed since the 1990s. Schrack Technik and Schrack Seconet have common roots in the predecessor company Schrack AG.
Workspace
Schrack Technik offers products and solutions for energy technology, industrial applications, building technology, emergency lighting, network technology, lighting technology and cabling. The product range includes, for example, relays , circuit breakers and other devices for electrical installations as well as photovoltaics and charging stations .

history
The original company, Schrack AG , was founded in 1920 by Eduard Schrack , who invented an optical stereometric system for measuring terrain as early as 1914 . In 1918 Eduard Schrack produced the first industrial radio tube in Austria. The company itself is still involved in the development and production of telephone systems, radios, safety switches and fire alarm systems .
In the 1990s, Schrack expanded strongly towards Eastern Europe. In 2002 Schrack took over the Austrian company Highspeed Cabling .
Since 2005, Schrack Technik has been an independent company with its headquarters in Vienna following a management buy-out . The three new managing directors, Viktor Eßbüchl, Wilhelm Großeibl and Norbert Kasper, as well as 16 other managers bought the company from the French Rexel group, which had meanwhile acquired the company from the Schrack family.

The company since 2010 with the Schrack LiVE App free iOS - and Android - app available that electrical engineers is to make everyday work easier. Schrack Technik was awarded the innovation prize of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce , the Mercur 2010, in the "Mobile Apps" category.
