The Schronbach is a more than 6 km long left tributary of the upper Isar in the municipal areas of Jachenau and Lenggries in the Upper Bavarian district of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen .

It arises on the alpine pasture area between Reiseralm and Klasenalm . The alpine pasture drains to the Schronbach to the northeast, but also to the south in the direction of Staffelgraben . The Schronbach enters the Schronbach Valley, where it falls over a waterfall, which is marked as a natural monument, and runs in the area of the Untere Schronbachalm . The entire lower reaches of the Schronbachs is also natural site contains Kolke , pools and waterfalls.
