Schtscherbowez (Ukrainian Щербовець ; Russian Щербовец , Hungarian Beregsziklás (translated as rocky / rugged) - older Serbóc, Slovak Šerbovec / Šerbovce ) is a village and district municipality in the northern part of Rajon Volovets the Zakarpattia Oblast in western part of Ukraine .
The place has 251 inhabitants and is at an altitude of 556 meters. The region around Shcherbovets is naturally forested , benefiting from a temperate continental climate and remote location. The amount of precipitation is around 1200 mm per year. The main source of income is agriculture. Despite some mineral springs, the region is not developed for tourism.
