School horse

A school horse is, in the classical sense, a horse that has mastered high school lessons such as piaffe , passage , pirouette , levade , courbette , caper, etc. The term "school stallion" is still used today at the Spanish Riding School .

The term school horse is often used today for a teaching or rental horse that is used in riding schools to train riding students. There are also driving school horses, for example in Marbach .
