Schultenleimberg is a court in the Bergisch city ​​of Wuppertal .

Location and description

The Hofschaft is located in the northwest of the city at 252  m above sea level. NHN in the north of the Eckbusch residential area in the Uellendahl-Katernberg district near the city limits of Velbert.

history

In the 19th century, Schultenleimberg belonged to the Kleine Höhe farmers' group of the Hardenberg mayor's office , which was renamed Neviges in 1935 . From 1816 to 1861 it belonged to the Elberfeld district and from 1861 to the old Mettmann district .

The communal road between Elberfeld and Neviges, built in the 1830s and later expanded to state road 427, ran through the village . At the beginning of the 20th century, a tram line ran through Schultenleimberg on Kommunalchaussee or Landesstraße 427. It was shut down on August 3, 1952.

In 1888, five residents lived in Schultenleimberg in one house.

As a result of the regional reform of North Rhine-Westphalia , Neviges came to the city of Velbert at the beginning of 1975 and the eastern suburbs of Neviges around Schultenleimberg were incorporated into Wuppertal.
