Oberste Leimberg is a court in the mountainous city of Wuppertal .
Location and description
The Hofschaft is located in the northwest of the city at 230 m above sea level. NHN in the north of the Eckbusch residential area in the Uellendahl-Katernberg district near the city limits of Velbert.

history
The place is on the topographical recording of the Rhineland from 1824 together with the residential areas Römersleimberg and Unterste Leimberg as Leimberger Höfe and on the Prussian first recording from 1843 as Ob. Leimberg drawn. The place bears the name Oberste Leimberg on measuring table sheets .
In the 19th century belonged Supreme Leimberg to the peasantry Small height of the mayoralty Hardenberg established in 1935 Neviges has been renamed. From 1816 to 1861 it belonged to the Elberfeld district and from 1861 to the old Mettmann district .
In 1888 eight residents lived in one house in Oberste Leimberg.
Due to the regional reform of North Rhine-Westphalia , Neviges came to the city of Velbert at the beginning of 1975 and the eastern suburbs of Neviges around Oberste Leimberg were incorporated into Wuppertal.
