description
The Schupfe, also known as Schranne in other parts of the country , was built in the 17th century and later given a classical facade. The elongated, two-storey eaves side house with a saddle roof and ten arcade arches on the ground floor has a plaster structure. In the middle of the building with 16 window axes on the upper floor there is a dwelling . The arcade arches rest on smooth columns with drum bases and have braces made of a ring, throat and plate. A cornice with small consoles runs under the upper floor windows . The upper floor windows have plastered profile frames.
The dwarf house with three arched windows is adorned by two circular medallions, each of which depicts a putto . The dwarf house is framed by pilasters with capitals and there is a small round window in its flat triangular gable.
In the arcade, one step above street level, there are domed vaults in the ten yokes between belt arches . The interior of the building has been significantly changed.
