Protection of parts of the landscape (Landscape Protection Ordinance ) - Absberg southern slope (ID: LSG-00469.01) is a landscape protection area in Bavaria . It extends over an area of ​​16.4  hectares in Absberg , a municipality in the middle of the Franconian Lake District in the central Franconian district of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen .

The conservation area is located in the Spalter hill country north of the Kleiner Brombach , a receiving water of the Great Brombach . The reserve extends along an undeveloped slope south of Absberg. To the south, the protected landscape area borders on parts of the landscape ( Landscape Protection Ordinance) - Kleiner Brombachsee .

The nature reserve is located in the Franconian Keuper-Lias-Land (11) within the natural spatial main unit foreland of the southern Franconian Jura (113).
