history

The former bridge square

With the Dippoldiswalde Castle around 1200, the Vorwerk Wolframsdorf (formerly Ulberndorf ) was also created in the lower part of the Grund on Wolframsdorfer Strasse / Alte Osterzgebirgische Poststrasse and the village of Schwarzdorf with the Vorwerk of the same name in the upper part of the Grund. To the left of the Alte Osterzgebirgische Poststraße on the Obercarsdorfer slope stood the church of the Vorwerk Wolframsdorf, of which almost nothing has survived. In 1429 the village and both farms were razed by the Hussites . In 1977 part of the area with an area of 13.12 hectares was placed under nature protection.

Old Osterzgebirgische Poststrasse

The left ravine

The road is only partially passable today. It led from Dippoldiswalde via Obercarsdorf through the mountains. It was laid out in the early Middle Ages, but lost its importance with the construction of the Obergebirgische Straße. In the area of the Schwarzbachtal, it divides on the Dippoldiswalde slope into three ravines lying next to each other. The bridge still leading over the Schwarzbach in 1947 was dismantled and replaced by a pedestrian bridge. It lies at a height of 401.2 meters and is the boundary between the town of Dippoldiswalde and the village of Obercarsdorf. In Dippoldiswalde it is now called Wolframsdorfer Straße, and in the further course the fields outside the city begin as the Alte Osterzgebirgische Poststraße until it merges with the Dorfstraße in Obercarsdorf.

Nature reserve

The area lies between the pneumatic and hydraulic works in Dippoldiswalde and the Alte Osterzgebirgische Straße. There is a mixed forest with species-rich valley meadows along the Schwarzbach with English oaks and alders . There are autumn croissants , wig knapweed, the big meadow button, cuckoo's light carnations , narrow-leaved cotton grass , brook avens and cabbage thistle.

There are several types of dragonflies (including horseshoe damsel ), butterflies such as swallowtail ( Papilio machaon ), admiral ( Vanessa atalanta ), map ( Araschnia levana ), brown bear ( Arctia caja ), housemother ( Noctua pronuba ), beetle species Papelle ( Melasoma populi ), blood sugarcup ( Cercopis vulnerata ), leather beetle ( Carabus coriaceus ) and hornets ( Vespa crabro ), the crescent hover fly (Skalva pyrastiri), the narrow -headed hoverfly ( Rutpela maculata ) and the yellow-banded hover fly ( Episyrphus balteatus ).

Schwarzbach

The stream rises in the corridors of Obercarsdorf and flows through the entire ground. Two bridges crossed it, on which the road from Reichstädt to Obercarsdorf and the Alte Osterzgebirgische Poststrasse ran. The stream flows into the Rote Weißeritz above the fulling mill or Mendenmühle .
