Sadisdorf is a district of the Saxon large district town Dippoldiswalde in the district of Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains .
geography
Sadisdorf is located about three kilometers west of Schmiedeberg in the Eastern Ore Mountains . The place is directly on the federal highway 171 . Southwest of the village is located by the Wild Weißeritz pent Lehnmühle Dam .

history
The Waldhufendorf was first mentioned in the 13th century as "Sydensdorff". Around 1437 Sadisdorf was part of the Dohna care . From 1548 the Pirna office was in charge of administration. From 1856 to 1875 Sadisdorf belonged to the Dippoldiswalde court office , and later to the Dippoldiswalde administration . In 1900 the area of the district was 556 hectares . The population of Sadisdorf was divided into 493 Evangelical Lutheran residents and two Catholics in 1925 . In 1952 Sadisdorf became part of the Dippoldiswalde district as an independent municipality, which became part of the Weißeritz district in 1994 . On January 1st of the same year Hennersdorf , Ammelsdorf , Sadisdorf and Obercarsdorf merged to form the new municipality of Obercarsdorf. In 2001 this was incorporated into Schmiedeberg. In August 2008, Sadisdorf became part of the Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains district formed from the Saxon Switzerland and Weißeritz districts . With the incorporation of Schmiedeberg into Dippoldiswalde, Sadisdorf also became part of the large district town.

Mining
The area of the village of Sadisdorf was characterized by mining for a long time. The " Sadisdorf copper mine " achieved a relatively high level of awareness, although it was located outside the actual location.
