history

The Waldhufendorf was first mentioned in a document in 1332. When it was founded, Hennersdorf was part of the "Districtus Frauenstein ". From 1485, the Frauenstein nursing and Freiberg nursing departments were in charge of administration. The manorial rulership was exercised around 1550 by the manors Dippoldiswalde and Frauenstein. In 1569 the Dippoldiswalde office was responsible for the administration, from 1764 the administrative affiliation was mainly with the Frauenstein office. From 1856 to 1875 Hennersdorf belonged to the Frauenstein court office and later to the Dippoldiswalde district administration . In 1900 the area of the district was 834 hectares . In 1925, the population of Hennersdorf was divided into 467 Evangelical Lutheran residents and three Catholics . When the Lehnmühle dam was flooded in early 1932, the Kreherschmiede, which belongs to Hennersdorf, sank into the floods.

In 1952, Hennersdorf became part of the Dippoldiswalde district as an independent municipality, which became part of the Weißeritz district in 1994 . On January 1 of the same year Hennersdorf, Ammelsdorf, Sadisdorf and Obercarsdorf merged to form the new municipality of Obercarsdorf. In 2001 this was incorporated into Schmiedeberg. In 2007 the Hennersdorfer residents celebrated the 675th anniversary of their place. In August 2008, Hennersdorf became part of the Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains district, which was formed from the Saxon Switzerland district and the Weißeritz district . Hennersdorf has been part of Dippoldiswalde since January 1, 2014.
