Oberhäslich is a district of the Saxon large district town Dippoldiswalde in the district of Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains .

Oberhäslich is about three kilometers northeast of Dippoldiswalde. To the west of the village is the Malter dam , which is fed by the Rote Weißeritz . Oberhäslich is on federal highway 170 (direction Dresden / Altenberg ).

The place is mentioned for the first time in 1445 as Heselicht ("place on the Haselbusch"). It is laid out as a street or forest hoof village. In 1569 Oberhäslich belonged to the Dippoldiswalde office , from 1856 to 1875 to the Dippoldiswalde court office, then to the office of the same name . The population of Oberhäslich was divided into 228 Evangelical Lutheran residents and two Catholics in 1925 . On July 1, 1950, the neighboring village of Reinberg was incorporated. Two years later, Oberhäslich became a part of the Dippoldiswalde district , which emerged from the administration. In 1994 Oberhäslich was incorporated into Dippoldiswalde. The districts of Dippoldiswalde and Freital merged in the same year and from then on formed the Weißeritzkreis , to which Oberhäslich belonged until the merger with the district of Saxon Switzerland to form the district of Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains.
