Until the abolition of the vassal mining offices in 1851, the manor held the lower mountain jurisdiction and maintained a mining office. From 1856 to 1875 Naundorf belonged to the Dippoldiswalde court office , and later to the Dippoldiswalde administration . In 1900 the area of the district was 496 hectares . In 1925, the population of Naundorf was divided into 400 Evangelical Lutheran residents and eight Catholics . On July 1, 1950, Naundorf was incorporated into Schmiedeberg and in 1952 as its district part of the Dippoldiswalde district , which became part of the Weißeritz district in 1994 . In August 2008 Naundorf became part of the Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains district, which was formed from the Saxon Switzerland district and the Weißeritz district . Since January 1, 2014 Naundorf has been part of Dippoldiswalde through the incorporation of Schmiedeberg.
