Catholic branch church St. Michael in Schwarzersdorf

Schwarzersdorf is a church village and part of the municipality of Mauern in the district of Freising , Bavaria.

history

The place is mentioned in 754 under the name "Swarzolfesdorf" in a deed of donation to the church in Thulbach . On April 25, 1878, the Schwarzersdorf branch was changed from the Margarethenried parish, in which it was already mentioned in 1315, to the parish of Mauern. The current church, consecrated to St. Michael the Archangel, was built around 1716/1717 according to the plan of the court builder in Moosburg.

Until the beginning of the 19th century, the place was the seat of a chairman in the Moosburg district court on the Isar. In addition to the main town, Dürnseiboldsdorf and Weihern also belonged to it. The political community Reichersdorf , to which Schwarzersdorf originally belonged, came into being with the community edict of 1818. On January 1, 1971, the community Reichersdorf with the church village Gelbersdorf was incorporated into Gammelsdorf, Schwarzersdorf came to the walls.
