The Swiss Biographical Archive ( Archives biographiques suisses ; Archivio biografico svizzero ; SBA ) is a biographical reference work that was published in 6 volumes from 1952 to 1958 under the editorship of Willy Keller and published in Zurich by EPI Verlag international publications. It "provides information in short biographies in words and pictures about Swiss contemporaries who play a role in the cultural, economic, political, military and sporting life of our country". “The biographies were created on the basis of questionnaires that were sent to all the personalities to be included in the archive and filled out by them themselves. [...] Each biography is written in the national language that the interviewed personality himself chose to fill out the questionnaire ”.

The SBA appeared under the patronage of Hans Bernoulli , Eugen Bircher , Linus Birchler , Robert Bratschi , Karl Brunner , Carl Doka , Emil Georg Bührle , Carl Jacob Burckhardt , Eugen Dietschi , Gottlieb Duttweiler , Hans Hofmann , Ernst Howald , Oskar Howald , Eugène Martin , Paul Meierhans , Hans Münch , Joseph Piller , Aleardo Pini , Michel Plancherel , Gonzague de Reynold , Edmund Richner , Hans Schinz , Oskar Vasella , Karl Weber , Karl Wick , Henri de Ziegler and Giuseppe Zoppi .
