Scopevisio is a cloud-based company software for the central business processes in small and medium-sized companies. The integrated suite is provided as Software as a Service exclusively on demand and includes business applications for marketing , sales , projects , billing , accounting , finance and document management . The application is developed and sold by the software manufacturer Scopevisio AG, based in Bonn. With its corporate software from the cloud, Scopevisio AG sees itself as a companion and enabler of digital transformation in medium-sized companies.
history
Scopevisio AG was founded in early 2007 by HW Partners AG. The company headquarters is in Bonn.
HW Partners AG became aware of the IT concept of cloud computing early on in the USA . After preparations in 2005 and 2006, Scopevisio AG began developing and designing the basic technology for a purely cloud-based business software in 2007. From 2008 the founders focused on the first area of application, financial accounting , followed by billing in 2010 and a CRM system in 2011. In the same year the company introduced an accounting service. This enables users to outsource financial accounting to a freelance accountant or tax advisor mediated by Scopevisio.
In 2012, Scopevisio, in cooperation with its partner Deutsche Telekom, presented the “Smart Line” for small companies at CeBIT for the first time . At the same time, a product line was developed specifically for the needs of medium-sized companies and launched in March 2013 at CeBIT as a “business line”. In the same year Scopevisio presented several 2GO applications that have been optimized for use with touch screens on mobile devices. The applications CRM2GO, Finanz2GO, DMS2Go and Projekt2GO are optimized for mobile and fast use on the go, but are also based on the integrated company solution. In July 2013, Teamwork, a cloud document management system (DMS) with enterprise content management (ECM) function, was presented. By the end of 2013, a professional e-commerce application for connecting to multi-channel marketplaces (eBay, Amazon) and multi-channel shops (Magento, Drupal) had been integrated into the ERP system. In March 2014, the “Enterprise Line” for medium-sized and larger medium-sized companies was presented again at CeBIT 2014 and launched on the market. The CRM application was expanded further in 2015 as a tool for sales management. The BILLING application has supported the new electronic invoice format ZUGFeRD since 2015 . In the same year, Scopevisio was one of the development partners for the DATEVconnect online interface, which simplifies the digital exchange of documents between entrepreneurs and tax offices. With Openscope, the company has been pursuing an open interface concept since 2016. Third-party systems can be functionally connected and data exchanged via APIs . In 2017, Scopevisio AG announced that it would supplement the company software with artificial intelligence processes in order to automate business processes even further. At CeBIT 2017, the Scoper, the beta version of a digital assistant that can be controlled by voice, was presented for the first time.
Application areas / functions
The Scopevisio applications are offered in two product lines: a business line for medium-sized companies and an enterprise line with extensive, complex functions for larger medium-sized companies, corporate groups or franchising companies . The software includes the following applications:
- CRM: sales control and marketing
- Projects: project control and time recording
- Billing: orders and invoicing, e-commerce
- Finances: Business transactions with income statement (Smart) or balance sheet and income statement (P&L) including asset accounting , banking, reporting and controlling
- Teamwork DMS: enterprise content management, document management, e-collaboration, archiving
- Applications for mobile use on tablets and smartphones (CRM2Go, Finanz2Go, Projekte2Go, etc.)
The applications can be used as individual applications or combined to form integrated company software. Scopevisio is one of the few comprehensive German corporate solutions from the cloud.
Provision
All Scopevisio business applications are offered exclusively on the basis of cloud computing . The software is provided as software on demand via an Internet connection and hosted in a certified high-security data center in Germany. The business model is based on the SaaS approach with a daily usage fee close to the pay-per-use model.
safety
The entire application is developed in Germany and is subject to German law. Software and data are hosted in a data center of Digital Reality Inc. in Frankfurt am Main . The systems meet the highest industrial standards and are protected against environmental influences, fire and power outages. The Frankfurt data center (FRA2) of Digital Reality Inc. is certified according to the quality management standards DIN EN ISO 9001 (process quality) and ISO / IEC 27001 (security management).
On the way from the computer to the data center, communication is encrypted using HTTPS .
The financial accounting application is certified annually by the auditing company PricewaterhouseCoopers according to IDW PS 880 . The certificate certifies that the software, when used properly, enables financial accounting and invoicing that corresponds to the current principles. Scopevisio is a member of the Cloud Services Made in Germany initiative. Requirements for membership are headquarters in Germany, contracts under German law, place of jurisdiction in Germany and a German-speaking service.
Awards
In 2010 the online accounting software Scopevisio Professional, the predecessor of the current financial accounting software, was named the ERP system of the year in the accounting category. The award is presented annually in cooperation between the specialist journal ERP Management and the Center for Enterprise Research, which is part of the Chair for Information Systems and Electronic Government at the University of Potsdam . In 2013, the cloud business software received the “Innovation Prize” and “SME Special Prize” in the aforementioned competition. In 2015 Scopevisio was classified as a Cloud Leader, in 2015 and 2016 it was awarded the IT Award (platinum) from the CloudComputing Insider Portal, and in 2016 it was included in the “Germany at its best” list by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.

Scopevisio business software is offered in direct sales as well as through regional Scopevisio Sales & Consulting companies. Medium-sized customers receive personal support and specific service offers for digital transformation as well as for software implementation, data migration and training.
