Scorbut is a German-speaking band from Wandlitz ( Zerpenschleuse district ) in Brandenburg .

history

The band was founded in summer 2001 in Zerpenschleuse. In 2004 the debut album “Delirium” was released in-house.

In 2005 Tutte joined the band as a singer. In the following years Scorbut made numerous live appearances in the Berlin and Brandenburg area. Since it was founded, the band has played hundreds of concerts and has appeared in the opening programs of bands such as Knorkator , Toxpack , Nullpunkt and Larrikins .

In 2008 Scorbut released the album "Unter Die Haut" under the label Randale Records . After changing formations within the band, Scorbut has been working on another album since 2015.

In 2016 the long-awaited third album, Prototyp Mensch, was released under the new label Street Justice Record.

Scorbut are featured on the 2015 sampler “The Nidge Blitz Memorial” with the title “Someones gonna die” . The guest singer on this song is Daniel “Schulle” Schulz .

style

The style of Scorbut unites the different musical tastes of the individual band members and has influences from rock 'n' roll , punk rock and metal from three generations of musicians. In addition, the style of the band can be classified as anti-establishment .
