Scott Smith (born July 21, 1995 in Perth ) is a Scottish football player who last played for Dundee United .

Career

Scott Smith was born in 1995 in Perth, Scotland. In the early 2000s, he began his football career as a child. He played initially for in the immediate vicinity of the city of Dundee lying Longforgan Boys Club from the same district of Perth. Later, the young midfielder moved to the Youth Academy of Dundee United . For the club, Smith initially played in various junior teams until 2014. On matchday 30 of the 2013-14 season , Smith made his professional debut when he came on for Nadir Çiftçi in the game against Heart of Midlothian . By the end of the season, Smith should complete another league game on the penultimate matchday under manager Jackie McNamara . It was the New Firm , the derby against FC Aberdeen . In the following season , he continued to play in the jersey of Terror , before he was on loan from Scottish third division Forfar Athletic from November 2014 to January 2015 , and played seven competitive games for them. In August 2015, Smith was loaned out to Airdrieonians FC through January 2016 . After his contract with Dundee United was terminated, he was hired three months later at his ex-club Forfar Athletic FC . However, he only stayed there for a few months. In July 2017, Smith moved to Elgin City FC , where his contract was terminated after two years.
