history

It was founded in 1977 and at that time was one of the busiest German live bands with up to 200 concerts a year. The repertoire consisted almost exclusively of own compositions, in which Ralf Lippmann stood out as the composer and Klaus Nass as the lyricist. Scrifis had a regular media presence with radio and television appearances, u. a. on RTL Television , on ZDF , on Swiss television and on Hessian radio . The band played as the opening act for u. a. Rod Stewart , Lake, and Sally Oldfield . Regular club tours were on the program with appearances in renowned locations such as the " Große Freiheit " and the "Fabrik" in Hamburg , the "Kudamm" in Berlin , the " Sinkkasten " and the Batschkapp in Frankfurt am Main or the "Leine" Domicil "in Hanover .

In 1980 Scrifis won the German Phono Academy award for the best young band. A total of three albums were released before the band split up in 1987.
