Sean Douglas (* 8. May 1972 in Auckland ) is a former New Zealand football player , who for up to 2001 New Zealand national football team has been active. In 2007 he won the New Zealand championship with Auckland City .

Career

Douglas began his career with the Tyrwhitt Soccertier in 1994. In the same year he moved to Denmark to Lyngby BK , where he played until 1995. He then returned to his homeland to the Gippsland Falcons . In 1997 he signed a contract with Charlton SC , where he played 84 games until the club was dissolved in 2001. This was followed by engagements with Football Kingz , Waitakere United and Auckland City FC , where he was able to win the championship in 2007 . In the summer of 2007 he moved to Team Wellington . In 2008 he ended his active career there.

With the New Zealand national soccer team , Douglas won the OFC Nations Cup in 1998 . He played a total of 24 internationals between 2000 and 2001.
