Sebastián Ramis Torrens TOR (born June 10, 1943 in Llubí , Mallorca ) is a Spanish religious and prelate emeritus of Huamachuco .

Life

Sebastián Ramis Torrens joined the Order of the Regular Franciscans - Terciars ( Tercera Orden de Penitencia de San Francisco ) and was ordained a priest on June 29, 1969 . Three months later his order sent him to the Huamachuco Prelature as a missionary.

Pope John Paul II appointed him prelate of Huamachuco on November 13, 1990. The Apostolic Nuncio in Peru , Archbishop Luigi Dossena , donated him episcopal ordination on January 13 of the next year ; Co - consecrators were Manuel Prado Pérez-Rosas SJ , Archbishop of Trujillo , and Damián Nicolau Roig TOR, Prelate Emeritus of Huamachuco.

On August 7, 2018, Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation.
