Sebastian Betz (born June 12, 1985 in Weilheim in Oberbayern , Bavaria ) is a former German basketball player .

In the 2005/06 season, the 1.98 m tall small forward scored an average of 2.3 assists (basket assists ), 5.0 rebounds and 11.2 points per game for TSV Tröster Breitengüßbach in the 2. Basketball Bundesliga and was named “Youngster of the Month December (2005)” in the second division.

In January 2007 he received this title again and averaged 16.7 points in the 2006/07 season, got 5.6 rebounds and gave 2.0 assists per game. For the following season he moved to the first division club ratiopharm from Ulm in the basketball league . With this he won the runner-up in 2012 and was able to move into the quarter-finals in the 2012/13 Eurocup , which was the club's greatest international success.

In July 2013 it was announced that Betz was moving to league competitor s.oliver Baskets from Würzburg for the 2013/14 season.

Sebastian Betz played in Würzburg until 2017 and ended his career there on May 1, 2017 after a total of 259 first division games.
