Sebastian Brauneis (* 1978 in Vienna ) is an Austrian director , author and lecturer at the Max Reinhardt Seminar .

Life

Sebastian Brauneis grew up as the oldest of six siblings in Vienna. His father was the war correspondent Carl Brauneis . In his hometown he studied film studies and medicine . In 1999 he worked for the independent Viennese TV channel TIV . Together with Wolfgang Kopper , Brauneis produced, designed and hosted the program Focus on General for 15 months . From 2002 he directed more than 40 episodes for “ Sendung ohne Namen” at ORF .

This activity gave me the opportunity to organize a weekly evening in the Vienna Club Flex . There he took care of the musical design of the evening with various musicians.

From 2007 Sebastian Brauneis worked as a designer with Christoph Grissemann and Dirk Stermann for their late night show Willkommen Österreich . In spring 2012 he directed for democracy. The show is another late night format.

The first television series under his direction was released in 2014, Austria . In the super film production , Nicholas Ofczarek and Robert Palfrader played the leading roles in various double casts . The black comedy describes itself as "humorous sightseeing in the emotional backyards of an island of the blessed in the heart of Europe". The only season so far was broadcast on ORF.

In October 2014, Sebastian Brauneis staged the successful bus tour through Meidling as part of the Werk-X opening with the journey through the ass of the world .

Since then he has been a lecturer at the Max Reinhardt Seminar for his seminar Working in Front of the Camera .
