Sebastian Lange (born October 16, 1987 in Paderborn ) is a German soccer goalkeeper .

Career

The keeper moved from DJK Mastbruch to the youth team of SC Paderborn 07 in 2000 , where he made it into the professional squad in 2006. In the following seasons Lange was only used in the second team of the SCP.

It was not until April 25, 2009 that he made his third division debut for Paderborn after goalkeeper Kasper Jensen was sent off. On the next two match days, Lange was caught between the posts before Jensen came back from his red card suspension. In July 2009, Lange extended his contract for two more years until 2011, despite the increased competition in goal. In May 2010, the contract was extended for a further year to 2012 and Lange loaned out to Regionalliga-promoted SC Wiedenbrück 2000 for the 2010/11 season. A year later, both the loan contract and the contract with SC Paderborn were extended for another year. Another year later, Lange returned to Paderborn, where he did not receive a new contract in the summer of 2013. He then moved to the Regionalliga West for SC Verl .
