Aygün Yıldırım (born April 4, 1995 in Ahlen ) is a German football player of Turkish descent.

Career

The striker Yildirim began his career at DJK Vorwärts Ahlen and, at the age of eleven, moved to Rot Weiss Ahlen , whose men's team had just been relegated from the 2nd Bundesliga . There he went through all other youth teams. In spring 2014 he made his debut in the first men's team, which now played in the fifth-class Oberliga Westfalen . By the end of the season, Yildirim was able to establish himself in the team - despite being sent off and subsequently suspended -, made nine missions and two goals and finished ninth with his team. In the 2014/15 season , Yildirim contributed ten goals in 28 appearances to the fact that Ahlen rose to the Regionalliga West as runner-up behind TuS Erndtebrück . In the Regionalliga Ahlen managed to stay up and Yildirim came there on 33 appearances and six goals. In the summer of 2016, Yildirim was planning a move to the Süper Lig , the top Turkish league. When that failed, he continued to play for Ahlen. After the Ahlens had to relegate from the regional league at the end of the 2016/17 season - Yildirim only scored one goal that season - the striker switched to former league rivals SC Wiedenbrück .

There he scored 13 goals in the 2017/18 season , finished seventh with his team and, despite an offer from the Süper Lig, moved to third division Sportfreunde Lotte free of charge . There he came on July 30, 2018 in the goalless draw against SV Meppen as a substitute for his first third division appearance. Since he only had a few hours of play in Lotte, he was loaned to the regional division SC Verl for the second half of the 2018/19 season. In the summer of 2019 he was firmly signed by Verl.
