Patrick Choroba (born June 11, 1996 in Gütersloh ) is a German soccer player .

Career

The defender Patrick Choroba is the son of Wojciech Choroba , the 82 times for FC Gütersloh in the 2. Bundesliga played. Patrick himself began his career at TuS Lipperzeile from Oerlinghausen and later moved to the youth department of SC Verl . After his youth, he first moved up to the squad of the second men's team, which competed in the regional league, and from 2015 played for the first team playing in the Regionalliga West . Choroba quickly became a regular player there and received offers from several German third division clubs and from the first Polish division in the spring of 2018 .

Finally, Choroba moved to third division club SG Sonnenhof Großaspach for the 2018/19 season . There he made his professional debut on July 28, 2018 when his team lost 3-2 at FC Carl Zeiss Jena . At the end of April 2019, Choroba was suspended until the end of the season for disciplinary reasons.

In the summer of 2019, the club and the players agreed to terminate the contract, which was still valid for one year, and the player then returned to Verl.
