Kasper Jensen (born October 7, 1982 in Aalborg ) is a former Danish football player .

Career

The goalkeeper played in Denmark for Jetsmark IF , Gug Boldklub , Aalborg BK and Sønderjysk Elitesport .

At the beginning of 2005 he moved to Werder Bremen in Germany , where he played for the U-23 youth team (the former Werder Bremen amateurs) and was the fourth goalkeeper behind Tim Wiese , Andreas Reinke and Christian Vander in the Bundesliga team.

For the 2007/08 season Jensen moved to the 2nd Bundesliga for FC Carl Zeiss Jena , where he received a two-year contract. On August 24, 2007 he even scored an own goal in the 86th minute of the game against 1. FC Köln .

For the 2008/09 season Jensen moved to the second division relegated SC Paderborn 07 in the new 3rd division . With the SCP, he managed to get promoted back to the second Bundesliga straight away; because as third in the third division, the SCP beat third-bottom of the second division , VfL Osnabrück , 1-0 in the relegation games, with Jensen holding a penalty shot by Thomas Cichon in the second leg . After the end of the 2009/10 season, his contract with Paderborn was no longer extended and his move to his Danish homeland was announced; Jensen signed with the first division club FC Midtjylland . The goalkeeper made his debut for FC Midtjylland in the 2nd round of the Danish Cup 2010/11 against FC Skanderborg which ended 3-1 for FCM. In the league he was only the second goalkeeper behind Jonas Lössl .

In early January 2012 he moved back abroad and signed with the Swedish first division club Djurgårdens IF , where he should succeed Dembo Touray as the first goalkeeper. After he was initially without a club in the spring of 2013, he signed a contract with Vejle Boldklub Kolding on February 28, 2013 .

Jensen ended his career in November 2015.
