Sebastian Pircher (* 1976 in Düsseldorf ) is a German cameraman , video designer and actor .

life and work

Pircher studied film and television studies , American studies and literature at the Ruhr University in Bochum . Since 1999 he has been working as a video designer for well-known theaters in German-speaking countries. a. at the Schauspiel Köln , Schauspielhaus Düsseldorf , Schauspielhaus Bochum , the Deutsches Theater Berlin , the Schauspiel Frankfurt , the Theater Basel and the Schauspielhaus Zurich . In 2009 he was engaged for the first time by the Salzburg Festival and in 2011 for the first time at the Vienna Burgtheater .

He works mainly with the directors Katie Mitchell , Anna Bergmann and Antú Romero Nunes . Mitchell and Romero Nunes also occasionally use Pircher as actors in their productions.
