Sebastian Radke

Sebastian Radke (* 1. September 1974 in Berlin , † 8. April 2015 ) was a German radio and television presenter .

In 1992 Radke was the winner of The Face , the largest young model competition in Europe. In 1996, alongside Nadine Krüger, he presented the short-lived dating program Sommer sucht Sprosse on the television station Sat.1 and from 1997 to 1998, together with Daisy Dee, six episodes of the music show The Dome on RTL II . After that he worked for the Berlin private radio broadcaster 98.8 Kiss FM for 15 years until his death , initially as a volunteer and later as a presenter. In March 2013 he was one of the two presenters of the up to then "longest radio show in the world" with the title 100 hours awake , which was officially called the "Longest marathon of a radio station DJ team" with a record time of 98.8 hours. received an entry in the Guinness Book of Records . He also moderated programs from Camp Marmal , the largest military camp in Afghanistan , for several days . Radke's departure from 98.8 Kiss FM was announced for June 2015.

Sebastian Radke collapsed on April 8, 2015 while he was hosting his program Die Basty Show , and died a few hours later after being admitted to a Berlin hospital at the age of 40. He left a 13 year old son.
