Secondino Petronio Lacchio
Secondino Petronio Lacchio OFM (born May 17, 1901 in Roppolo , † February 20, 1976 ) was an Italian clergyman and Roman Catholic Archbishop of Changsha .
Life
Secondino Petronio Lacchio joined the order of the Franciscans, made his profession in 1916 and was ordained a priest on August 8, 1926 . Pius XII. appointed him on January 12, 1940 Vicar Apostolic of Changsha and Titular Bishop of Praenetus .
He was ordained bishop by the Vicar Apostolic von Hengchow , Raffaele Angelo Palazzi OFM, on May 26th of the same year; Assistants were Pacifico Calzolari , Prefect Apostolic of Xiangtan , and Laszlo Lombos , Prefect Apostolic of Baojing . The Pope elevated the Apostolic Vicariate to an archbishopric on April 11, 1946 and Secondino Petronio Lacchio became the archbishop. He attended all the sessions of the Second Vatican Council .
