Securigera globosa is a plant type from the family of the Pea family (Faboideae).

features

Securigera globosa is a perennial stem hemicryptophyte that reaches heights of 20 to 120 centimeters. There are 9 to 20 leaflets per leaf . These measure 15 to 30 × 5 to 13 millimeters. The inflorescence is a club- shaped , 15- to 40-flowered umbel . The crown is whitish and 9 to 11 millimeters in size. The sleeves are straight, 30 to 70 millimeters long and divided into 2 to 5 limbs.

The flowering period extends from May to June.

Occurrence

Securigera globosa is endemic to Crete . The species grows on rocks and river gravel at altitudes from 0 to 850 meters.
