Seebeck is a district of the community of Vielitzsee in the Ostprignitz-Ruppin district in Brandenburg . The place belongs to the office Lindow (Mark) . Seebeck is located on 120 ha large Vielitzsee extending at the southern edge and to the west of the place.

location

Seebeck is located on the Granseer Platte , around four kilometers southeast of Lindow (Mark) . The surrounding villages are Strubensee in the north, Glambeck in the east, Vielitz in the south and Schönberg (Mark) in the west. Seebeck is on Kreisstraße 6803.

history

Seebeck was first mentioned in 1458 as Sebeke . The place was named after the stream flowing through the east of the village.

Incorporations

On May 1, 1970, the then independent communities Seebeck and Strubensee merged to form Seebeck-Strubensee . This community merged on December 31, 2001 with the community of Vielitz to form the new community of Vielitzsee.
