Seekopf is a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Lunz am See in the Scheibbs district in Lower Austria .
The cadastral community is located at the "head" of the Lunzer See and extends from this to the south almost to the state border with Styria. Seekopf is also the name of a single location above the west bank.
Settlement development
At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 85 building areas with 28,472 m² and 11 gardens on 18,669 m² in the cadastral community Seekopf , in 1989/1990 there were also 85 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 148 and in 2009/2010 there were 95 buildings on 148 building areas. These are mainly located on the south side of the Lunzer See.
