The Seelbach is a good one kilometer long and right tributary of the Horrenbach near Gemünd , a district of the Schleiden municipality in the Euskirchen district of North Rhine-Westphalia .

The Seelbach rises in the approximately 8 hectare Sebestal nature reserve south of Gemünd-Malsbenden , which is southwest of the Gemünd district. From there it flows north to Malsbenden, where it crosses under Schöttgasse . To the north of this lane, the stream runs in a north-northwest direction along a road and crosses under it just before the Bruchstrasse in a westerly direction. From there it runs a few meters south of the Bruchstrasse, which branches off to the south. There it crosses the street again and finally flows into the Horrenbach , which flows into the Urft shortly afterwards .
Catchment area
The catchment area of the Seelbach lies in the North Eifel and is drained into the North Sea via Horrenbach, Urft, Rur , Maas and Hollands Diep . In the east it borders on the catchment area of the Urft tributary Braubach .
