geography

course

The Seelbach rises in the Northern Vosges at an altitude of about 260  m north of Ingwiller on the southern slope of the Kuehberg ( 356  m ). It first flows southeast through a narrow, wooded valley northeast of the Hochkopf ( 377  m ). Before he leaves the forest, he feeds a small lake and then changes his direction shortly to the south and makes a wide arc around the Eselsberg . There it runs on the western edge of the Schneizwald through a field and meadow landscape and finally flows into the Moder east of Ingwiller at an altitude of about 185  m .
