Biguglia is a French commune with 7923 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) on the French island of Corsica . The municipality belongs to the Haute-Corse department , the Bastia arrondissement and the Biguglia-Nebbio canton .
geography
To the east, Biguglia, which is five kilometers south of the agglomeration around Bastia , borders the Tyrrhenian Sea . The north-western part of the Etang de Biguglia beach lake is on the municipal marker . The neighboring communities are Furiani in the north, Borgo in the south, Olmeta-di-Tuda and Rutali in the south-west and Oletta in the west.
