Cagnano is a municipality on the French island of Corsica . It belongs to the Haute-Corse department , the Bastia arrondissement and the Cap Corse canton . The residents call themselves Cagnanais or Cagnanesi.

geography

Cagnano is located on the Cap Corse , an average of 300 meters above sea level and consists of the villages of Porticcioli, Suare, Ghilloni, Ortale, Adamo, Piazza, Terre Rosse and Carbonacce. The municipality borders the Tyrrhenian Sea to the east . Neighboring communities are Luri in the north, Barrettali in the west and Pietracorbara in the south.
