Olmeta-di-Capocorso is a municipality in the French department of Haute-Corse on the Mediterranean island of Corsica . It belongs to the canton of Cap Corse in the Arrondissement of Bastia . The residents call themselves Olmetais .
geography
Olmeta-di-Capocorso is located on the Cap Corse and borders the Ligurian Sea to the west and the Gulf of Saint-Florent to the southwest. The settlement area is an average of 200 meters above sea level and consists of the villages of Olmeta and Marine de Negru. The neighboring communities are Nonza in the northwest, Olcani in the north, Brando in the east, Santa-Maria-di-Lota in the southeast and Farinole in the south.
