Lake waterworks
A lake waterworks is a waterworks for the treatment and provision of drinking water . The water required for this is pumped via pipes from the spring taps in a lake to the waterworks and then filtered .
Switzerland
On Lake Zurich there are lake waterworks in Horgen , Küsnacht , Lachen , Männedorf , Meilen and Thalwil . In addition, the city operates Zurich , the lake water plant moss and Lengg lake . The municipality of Meisterschwanden plans to build a lake waterworks in Lake Hallwil from 2020 .
Germany
In Germany, the Hasenberg lake water works is located on the Hasenberg in Stuttgart .
