Seham Sawalhy (born April 14, 1991 ) is an Egyptian Taekwondoin . It starts in the weight class up to 67 kilograms.

Sawalhy played her first international title fights at the Junior World Championship in Vietnam in 2006 , where she reached the second round in the class up to 63 kilograms. The following year she started for the first time in the adult division at the 2007 World Cup in Beijing , but was eliminated in her opening fight. In 2008 Sawalhy finally won her first international medal with silver at the Junior World Championships in Izmir . She was also successful at the 2011 Universiade in Shenzhen . She reached the semi-finals in the class up to 67 kilograms and won bronze. At the 2011 international Olympic qualification tournament in Baku , after losing to Elin Johansson in the decisive battle for third place, she initially missed direct qualification for the 2012 Olympic Games in London , but won at the beginning of 2012 with a final victory against Ruth Gbagbi in class up to 67 kg the African qualifying tournament in Cairo and secured their participation in the games.
