Seiya Kishikawa ( Japanese 岸 川 聖 也 , Kishikawa Seiya ; born May 21, 1987 in Kitakyūshū ) is a Japanese table tennis player . He took part in the Olympic Games for the second time in 2012 .
Career
Seiya Kishikawa has appeared internationally since 2001. At youth world championships he won the doubles title in 2003 with Minoru Muramori and in 2004 with Jun Mizutani and in 2005 with the Japanese team. In 2005 he became Junior Asian Champion in mixed with Moemi Terui.
At the Asian Championships for adults, Seiya Kishikawa reached the final in team competition in 2007, 2009 and 2012. He also reached the semi-finals in doubles in 2007 and mixed in 2009. Since 2003 (until 2012) he has been nominated for nine world championships . He won bronze with the team in 2008 , 2010 and 2012 . In 2009 he failed in doubles with Jun Mizutani only in the semi-finals.
In 2008 he qualified for the first time to participate in the individual competition of the Olympic Games, where he survived the first round. In 2012 he was nominated again for his world ranking position . Here he failed in the quarterfinals against the Chinese Wang Hao .
At the Japanese Championships , Seiya Kishikawa won with Jun Mizutani from 2006 to 2009 and again in 2011 in doubles.

Seiya Kishikawa has been playing for several German clubs since the early 2000s, starting in the regional league and later in the first and second division :

- 2004–2006: TTC Schwalbe Bergneustadt (2nd BL North)
- 2006–2007: TTC SIG Combibloc Jülich (1st BL)
- 2007–2009: Werder Bremen (1st BL)
- 2009–2010: Borussia Düsseldorf (1st BL)
- 2010–2011: TTF Liebherr Ochsenhausen (1st BL)
